Directions

Step 1
In a large saute pan, add EVOO, minced shallots, thyme sprig and onions. Cook shallots and onions until fragrant.

Step 2
Add butter and sliced mushrooms, cook until mushrooms develop a golden brown color. Next, add beef base and water, mix to incorporate.

Step 3
Allow the sauce to simmer and water begins to reduce by half. Fold in alfredo sauce and meatballs. Mix to incorporate. Allow sauce to simmer as meatballs warm throughout.

Step 4
Once the sauce is silky smooth, fold in sour cream and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5
Remove half of the sauce and fold in warm egg noodles. Place egg noodles in a bowl, top with meatballs, mushrooms and additional sauce. Garnish with additional finely chopped parsley and cracked black pepper.
