Directions

Step 1
Heat oil on high in a heavy bottom pot. Add sausage and allow to caramelize on one side, Remove sausage with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Step 2
Lower heat to medium. Add onion and green pepper and stir until onions are tender and translucent. Add garlic and Cajun seasoning. Cook until garlic is fragrant.

Step 3
Stir in entire can of gravy along with the apple cider vinegar. Once the mixture is warm, reduce heat to low while biscuits are prepared.

Cook biscuits according to the package directions.

Step 5
To serve, split two biscuits on a plate. Sprinkle biscuits with cheese, cover with gravy,and garnish with scallions. (A great addition to this recipe is an egg, scrambled or sunny side up, on top!)
